Web 2.0 – The Machine is Us/ing Us

Excellent video featuring mostly Web typography documenting the evolution of the Web. The video traces the World Wide Web through its primary programming languages and how they have changed the way we communicate and suggests that we need to rethink a few things like copyright, authorship, identity, ethics, governance, privacy and so on. Hi Chaun… You should also check out the companion video “The Future of Communication and Education.” where the maker of this video, Professor Mike Wesch, now a National Geographic Emerging Explorer, describes the inspiration behind this wildly popular video while talking about the future of communication and education.

Oh actually, I came here through the other video. :) I thought it was very good where he drew his inspiration and how our integrated, digitalised world can improve classroom learning and thinking, going beyond the four walls, physically and conceptually speaking.
