PBS’ Jeff Yastine reported from January 2010, on a renewed interest in vinyl records, which is music to the ears of many fans. About 10 years ago, I gave away over 2000 vinyl records when I moved from Boston back to San Francisco. I don’t regret it but sometimes I still miss that collection. (4 min)

I think if I did not move from coast to coast, I would have kept my 2000 plus albums.

2000 albums! Wow! I think we are more or less in the same generation but for some reason I am more familiar with cassette tapes…I think I have only ever bought a few 45s in the early 90s and by then the CDs were already on the market.
