Noam Chomsky for Secretary of State!

I love how Chomsky speaks the truth with this great background of human history to illustrate his points. Can you imagine a debate between him and GWB???

I do agree that we should be working towards a single currency and equivalent wages and prices throughout the world. Just in the last 2 years the Cdn currency vs US dollars has moved from below 65 cents to about $1.10 and now back into the mid 80 cent range. This volatility is very unpredictable for prices and for the economy…

Chomsky is a walking encyclopedia, so when he talks about any subject he brings much context to it and gives his more power to his talks. Globalization is so misunderstood because the word has been appropriated by big business for profits not only to themselves but to a lot of investors, many are just hard working regular people. Unfortunately, that type of globalization works against the actual meaning of the word. It is one of the best examples of how words are hijacked, branded a certain way so it can be used to manipulate.
