this is what you’re into right? that is great…the founder looks amazing for a guy in his 60s…doing the workout in that heat must be killer…drink lots of coconut water.. :-)

  2. shapeshift says:

Yes, I can’t believe he is in his 60’s, he’s bouncing around like he’s in his 20’s. I would love to be like that when I am in my 60’s… unfortunately I started Yoga about 30 years after he did and not even sure how long I can stick with the torture chamber…:~)

By the way, what is this thing about Coconut water and Yoga? I am just hearing about it… I have to look it up…

  3. Ann says:

coconut water is just really good for dehydration…am not sure if there is a specfic connection to yoga…i used to drink tons of he when i lived in the tropics and it def helped…

  4. shapeshift says:

Well, I can drink coconut water day and night if I could. I love the stuff. I just found a supermarket near my work where I can get fresh coconut water from coconuts. They even chop off the top for you. You’d think we are in the tropics…

  5. ann says:

lucky you!! I just get the packaged stuff here…zico, i get it all the time…

  6. CS says:

Yoga! I have been wanting to do it for three years now…looks like 2009 may be the year for it. The Bikram Yoga sounds torturous though…I think I will go for something simpler first. How are you liking it, David?

  7. shapeshift says:

Chaun, I like it a lot. It is very difficult, I think… but perhaps the rewards are greater. I am not familiar with other yoga practices so I cannot compare. I am sure any Yoga you do would be beneficial.

Ann, I just tasted ZICO, it’s pretty good.

  8. ann says:

Yep, zico is good…needs to be served chilled for best taste…they offer some hatha yoga at the isha ashram near here, I may try it one of these weekends…it is residential program over a few days…

  9. CS says:

I had to come back and watch this again. I have been thinking of signing up for Bilkram yoga, but I am not sure about the heat factor, the torture chamber…Are you still doing it, David?

  10. shapeshift says:

    Hi Chaun,

I am not going as often as I would like… partly because it is such a challenge… but once I get there and do the yoga, I always want to make of an effort to go more often.

You should try a few classes. Perhaps there is an introductory offer. Once you finish just one or two classes, you will feel it right away. That should convince you more than anyone can recommend…

  11. i do Yoga everyday for the purpose of relaxation. Yoga really helps me in getting a very relaxed mind and body
